Summary

Map of the Roman provinces in 44 BC. Territories where the extent of Roman control is uncertain (Ilyria) are marked with a lighter colour of green. Adapted from the Cambridge Ancient History (1966), Vol. IX Map 12 (between pages 436 and 437) and the Oxford Atlas of World History (2002), pages 54-55. Made personally, using World_map_blank_gmt.png.
