Summary

Composite image of Enceladus taken by Cassini's narrow-angle camera on March 9, 2005 during approach for a close flyby. Distance at the time was about 144 000 km and phase angle was 48 degrees. Frames taken through infrared, green and ultraviolet filters were processed to better match natural colour appearance. Image was rotated so that north on Enceladus is up.
