This image has been downloaded from the Great War Primary Documents Archive. It states on that
- "photos are taken from government sources", or,
- "at least 70 years has passed from the original copyright date." for which they assume "in good faith [...] elapsed copyrights". They say that "All copyright issues are the responsibility of the end user" and "it is strongly suggested that you attempt to obtain permission from the original copyright holder before using any of these images for commercial purposes."
For their alleged sweat of the brow rights gained by the act of scanning, they state that "Permission is granted to use the images on this site for any purpose provided that [...] Images used must be credited to the archive. In the case of images used on the web, such credit should constitute an HTML link to the Photos of the Great War index page." Please consider using {{ PD-USGov}} or {{ PD-old}} instead. |
