English:

  1. Fill the reservoir of the glass with absinthe (or about 1/3 to 1/5 absinthe of the volume).
  2. Place an absinthe spoon and a sugar cube on top of the glass.
  3. Slowly drip ice water through the sugar until it dissolves completely.
  4. The drink louches (turns white) and new flavours come out.

German:

  1. Fülle das Reservoir des Glases mit Absinth (ungefähr 1/3 bis 1/5 voll).
  2. Lege einen Absinthlöffel und einen Zuckerwürfel auf das Glas.
  3. Tropfe eiskaltes Wasser durch den Zucker bis er sich komplett aufgelöst hat.
  4. Das Getränk wird weiß und ein neuer Geschmack entsteht.

Eesti keel:

  1. Täida klaasi reservuaar absindiga (või selle puudumisel 1/3 kuni 1/5 viis osa kogumahust)
  2. Aseta klaasi peale absindilusikas koos suhkrutükiga.
  3. Tilguta aeglaselt jääkülma vett läbi suhkru kuni see lahustub täielikult ära.
  4. Jook muutub valget värvi ja kerkivad esile uued aroomid (seda protsessi nimetatakse lušš'iks).

Français:

  1. Remplir le reservoir (ou entre 1/3 et 1/5 du volume) du verre avec de l'absinthe.
  2. Placer un sucre dans un cuillère à absinthe sur le verre.
  3. Verser lentement de l'eau très froide sur le sucre jusqu'à ce que celui-ci se dissolve.
  4. La boisson blanchit et révèle de nouveaux arômes.

Svenska:

  1. Fyll glasets reservoar (ungefär 1/3 till 1/5 av den totala volymen) med absint.
  2. Placera en absintsked och en sockerbit ovanpå glaset.
  3. Droppa sakta isvatten genom sockebiten tills den upplöses fullt.
  4. Drinken skiftar färg och byter smak.
