Summary

Deutsch: Flagge Israels.
English: Flag of Israel. Shows a Magen David (“Shield of David”) between two stripes. The Shield of David is a traditional Jewish symbol. The stripes symbolize a Jewish prayer shawl ( tallit). The colour blue represents the sea, the sky, and ultimately God.
Slovenščina: Državna zastava Izraela.
It's easy to put a border around this flag:

Image notes

  • The color of the Magen David and the stripes of the Israeli flag is not precisely specified by legislation. The colour depicted in the current image is typical of flags seen in Israel, although individual flags can and do vary.
  • The flag legislation officially specifies dimensions of 220 cm × 160 cm. However, sizes of actual flags vary (and, in rare cases, even the aspect ratio as well).
