A painted stucco relief in the museum at Palenque, a Maya ruin in Chiapas, Mexico, from one of the recently excavated buildings. This panel depicts Upakal K'inich, the son of K'inich Ahkal Mo' Naab III, and dates from the 8th century A.D.
