1.	بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ	bi-smi llāhi r-rahmāni r-rahīm	Im Namen Gottes, des Gnädigen, des Barmherzigen.
2.	الْحَمْدُ للّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِين	al-hamdu li-llāhi rabbi l-'ālamīn	Alles Lob gebührt Allah, dem Herrn der Welten,
3.	الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ	ar-rahmāni r-rahīm	Dem Gnädigen, dem Barmherzigen
4.	مَالِكِ یَوْمِ الدِّینِ	māliki yaumi d-dīn	Dem Herrscher am Tag des Gerichts
5.	إِیَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وإِیَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ	iyyāka na'budu wa iyyāka nasta'īn	Dir (allein) dienen wir, und Dich (allein) bitten wir um Hilfe
6.	اهدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ المستَقِيمَ	ihdinā s-sirāta l-mustaqīm	Führe uns den geraden Weg,
7.	صِرَاطَ الَّذِینَ أَنعَمتَ عَلَيهِمْ غَيرِ المَغضُوبِ عَلَيهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ	sirāta lladhīna an'amta 'alaihim ghairi l-maghdūbi 'alaihim wa-lā d-dālīn	Den Weg derer, denen Du Gnade erwiesen hast, nicht (den Weg) derer, die (Deinem Zorn) erregt haben und nicht (den Weg) der Irregehenden
