The Rock itself

The rock of Gibraltar is owned by The UNITED KINGDOM (not England) and is 426 meters high. First its name was Jabl-e-Tariq, on the name of the compenion Tariq Bin Ziad, who conquered this place.It is a Jurassic limestone that was nicknamed the pillar of Hercules.
