English: Silver tetradrachm of the Greco-Bactrian King Eucratides I (171-145 BC) with the Dioscuri.
Obv: Bust of Eucratides. Helmet decorated with a bull's horn and ear. Rev: Depiction of the Dioscuri, each holding palm in left hand, spear in righthand. Greek legend: BASILEOS MEGALOI EUKRATIDOI "Great King Eucratides". Mint monogram below. Characteristics: Diameter 32 mm. Weight 15.9 g. Attic standard. One of the largest Hellenic coins ever minted.
Français : Tétradrachme en argent du roi gréco-bactrien Eucratidès Ier (171-145 av. J.-C.) avec les Dioscures.
Pile : Buste d'Eucratidès. Casque décoré d'une corne et d'une oreille de taureau. Face : Dioscures à cheval, tenant chacun une palme dans la main gauche et une lance dans la main droite. Inscription : BASILEOS MEGALOI EUKRATIDOI "Grand roi Eucratidès". Caractéristiques: Diamètre 32 mm. Poids 15,9 g. Standard attique. Une des plus grandes pièces hellénistiques jamais fondues.
