Yellowstars.jpg (676 × 318 pixel, file size: 46 KB, MIME type: image/jpeg)

Yellow stars of the type Jews were forced to wear during the Nazi occupation of Europe. These particular stars were used in The Netherlands, Dutch language "Jood" = "Jew".

This is the same image as Image:HPIM0843.JPG. Image has been cropped to remove reflection of photographer from the glass, and to remove the reflected light that was on the original image. Also centred the stars. Previous image had no tag, but appears to be a personal photograph.
