Summary

New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina:

Graffitti along the Metarie side of the flood wall atop the 17th Street Canal, showing a map of Louisiana with New Orleans marked by a fleur-de-lis as the centre of a hurricane, with the caption "I've Got My Eye On You!". Presumably this was put up shortly before Katrina hit.

This part of the levee stayed intact. The waters did not rise to the height of the flood wall here, probably due to the major breech on the other side closer to the lake.

Note the crack in the flood wall joint.
