An unusual top view of a hot air balloon basket, after tipping onto its side during landing at dusk. The landing place is a corn stubble field in Wiltshire, England.
The balloon carried 16 passengers and the pilot.
The passengers have all scrambled out and are waiting nearby for the champagne to be served by the pilot.

Points of interest: The loops of rope are for passengers to hold onto during landing (which can be extremely jarring). The two large bronze-coloured plates are to shield passengers from the extreme heat of the propane burners (which are the three coils). The cylinders of propane that feed the burners are not visible.
The red, deflated, balloon is still attached to the basket.
The person is me (on a flight at last, after 12 attempts were called off through bad weather).
