PNG version which is both smaller in filesize and lossless is at Image:Sedna-photo.png, however, this JPG should be the one used for thumbnails in articles, as it produces a much smaller (in bytes) thumbnail.
The picture shows an area of the sky equal to the area covered by a pinhead held at arm's length. Sedna is too faint to be seen by all but the most powerful amateur telescopes.
