Description |
A piece of sulfur burning (daytime / nighttime comparison). See separate pictures (version links below) for details. Deutsch: Schwefel schmilzt bei Verbrennung zu einer blutroten Flüssigkeit (oben). Die dabei entstehende blaue Flamme (unten) wird idealerweise in der Dunkelheit beobachtet.
English: Sulfur melts to a blood-red liquid. When burned, it emits a blue flame which is best observed in the dark.
Español: Fotografía de azufre fundido (foto superior) y de azufre ardiendo (foto inferior).
Nederlands: Een stukje zwavel smelt tot een bruinrode vloeistof wanneer het aangestoken wordt. De blauwe zwavelvlam kan het best in het donker geobserveerd worden.
