Version of Image:State Coat of Arms of the USSR (1958-1991 version).jpg without background. The original image was scanned from the Great Soviet Encyclopedia, 3rd edition in Russian, 6th vol., inset to page 352, 1971.

Inscriptions on ribbons (which are translated into English as "Proletariats of the world, Unite!") are as follows:
