Description |
Message from a REAL cell biologist: This is simply awful. There is virtually nothing correct. The author has absolutely no idea about cell biology. The Golgi is a typical example, completely wrong. It isn't anything like the drawing you have made. This is an example of the power of the imagination over a limited ability to deal with the facts. I am disappointed that such an awful mess should make its way into Wikimedia.
The image is a corrected version of an image i made sometime ago. the original quate on the image was "the image describes the parts on a typical plant cell. the image i made myself as resources i used the simple structure here, also the one i found hereand must of the text i could get from here as external source i used another structure found on the book "molecular cell biology" from james darnell, harvey lodish and david baltimore. i tryed to convine all in a complete yet simple diagram. i finish it on the 03-feb-05 —LadyofHats 01:12, 3 Feb 2005 (UTC)" Between the changes made are:
- removed the leukoplast, under request.
- aded the name tonoplast and increased the side of the vacuole
- reduced the size of the cytoskeleton, and distributed in the back.
- Changed the smooth endoplasmic reticulum to look as a part of the rough ER.
- made ribosome smaller and more atached to the rough endoplasmic reticulum
- made small membrane vesicles smaller and yellow.
- changed golgi vesicles to golgi body and aded the actual golgi vesicles.
- gruped elements that belonged together.
- made the file an SVG
