  • August 2006 - David Simpson & Laurie Irvine cycle from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

  • August 2006 Brother Graham and Oliver Sills cycle from John O’ Groats to Land’s End.

  • August 2006 - April 2008 Martina Eberle and Erik Otten are touring South & Central America in their Landrover, raising funds for SOS Children’s Village Managua, Nicaragua.

  • 17 September 2006 Tom Whitney takes part in the Bristol Half Marathon.

  • 24 September 2006 Steffi and Martin take part in the Real Berlin Marathon.

  • September - December 2006 Doug Brain is cycling 7000 km from London to Dakar to raise funds for our SOS community outreach projects for children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa. http://www.aid-by-cycle.co.uk

  • 9 October 2006 Sebastian Orton and friends will be taking part in the Chicago Marathon.

  • October 28 2006 Michael Niven is running a marathon at the 7th Annual 4-H Old Mulkey Classic in Tennessee raising sponsorship for SOS Children’s Villages in Burkina Faso.
